Yeah, those Trinitrons were outstanding tv's but weighed too much, which is likely why they lasted so long.

Never pays to buy latest greatest tv. Any 50-60" led for $800-$1200 is all u need, little difference in quality. If you want a smart tv, then check processor size a speed, and how you like their browser and apps. Why do u want a curved tv? This too is just a gimmick to sell new tvs, bad idea, and not good if you watch tv with others not sitting in line with the screen.
