We use our floater and put it down using the granular box with Tiger 90 as the carrier. U are correct on density and rate. If u can get on field yet it is a great time to do it as it wont activate. We dont harrow it til spring just before seeding. Excessive trash might be a problem but we havent had too many issues. I would be concerned about the spacing on your drill freewheat but possibly worth a shot. Let us know how it goes.
We use liquid in spring and works good but dont like the 2 harrow passes before seeding.

I would impregnate fertilizer and use it as a carrier and get someone to float it on or rent a spin spreader. You'll get better distribution and shake it down to the soil better.

If you can get it done in the fall, in my experience it works much better in the fall than the spring, you need to harrow at least once twice is better.

Harrowing is a waste of time. Makes more weeds grow than the avedex kills

Rent a Valmar spreader and do it right. With a good autotrac system coverage should be easy to track.

Ok Tom, point me in the direction of a Valmar rental. They just aren't around.

As far from southwest sask as is possible to be!

Not a lot of granular products used up here...

give your avadex rep a call they have done lots of trials and know what will work and not work. I can promise you harrowing is not a waste of time.
