That Putin, Assad, and the Iranians are in line for clear consequences... is without a doubt expected. Putin had real and obvious choices with Ukraine... and decided Obama would blink. As did Assad. Hundreds of thousands dead. A reaction described of the western world and moderate Muslims is the least that can be expected. As the world becomes a smaller battlefield... more volatility and strategic alignments should be expected...

I do not expect anyone should feel sorry for Russia, Syria, Iran, North Korea, or those who cater to these inhumane killing machines.
