Kinda like me commenting on soyabeans with someone from southern Manitoba - not relevant.
But some good points here, we were fortunate to be done last Sat so off to S'toon tomorrow with samples to verify grade and protein and go to mills. All our hrsw was #1 here with very low to nill fus so we will see what flour mills need, want, and expect to pay then we have no b/s to deal with localy. Plus have lunch and a beer at the shark club....

Klause there aee special pricing not offered to basis or futures contract holders. So your happy this year it worked. Keep us posted in tbe future. Also if you wish to claim profits from a falling market I suggest that you say exactly when you purchase and sell so we dont follow a practice make believe account. Anyone find 12:50 flax new crop?

Weight and Measures and DOT runs around doing unannounced spot checks. Why couldn't the CGC or 3rd party do the same.

If the Prot. mach is out lock the doors and pull every truck sample and recheck. Open back up after mach is calibrated. Couple guys on the road checking is pretty cheap insurance.

The other thing why isn't there a printer hooked to all prot. machines so we can check for human error and us for cross reference? Just like scale tickets.

                    All,

Just to quickly jump in here - at the Alberta Barley region 5 meeting in Westlock on November 18, we will be hosting a grain grading seminar. If it goes well, and there is interest, we are hoping to do something similar the following March.

For more information on that meeting, click here: http://www.albertabarley.com/events/region-5-meeting-2/

                    Thanks,

                    Cole

Policing the grain mafia families in Canada. Are you Fricking crazy even suggesting it?
