      Cotton is that cultivated land only or does it include forages? The reason I ask is if you use a 30bus/ac wheat average on 200 ac and divide it by 129 people they'll get 12,000 calories a day per person.

      If the math is right we will not run out of food anytime soon.

      The low prices may be justified.

            whether the numbers are wrong or right...they are the numbers. Nobody believes them anymore....which is a problem today.
            Why they are the numbers is a whole different story. What should the numbers be?

              The US soybean pipeline is empty which is why their basis had been as high as plus 3 bucks a bushel.

              And they have been importing beans for a while now.

              Major importing indicates 0 carry over.

              They have been lucky to have early harvests to fudge the numbers.
