Producer cars are a viable alternative these days to grain company high basis levels although could be better in my opinion. I have not used them for in my farming career but looking into. Someone mentioned a little while back all his cars ordered in for Dec delivery finally came in May. Is that true? And if true why? The railroad should know that producers are planting in may and work around it. Don't they?
