Well tomorrow is Friday and it looks like this year might just beat last years start date by two days. Most in our area will be going by may 12. But this weekends weather could change that. A few have started to seed on Canola stubble or worked ground from last fall we might mud in a quarter or two Friday if all works out. Some have harrowed or just burnt the whole field to dry it out. Lots of land trading going on in area will be interesting to see who's tractor is in what field this coming spring.
Frost is not out of the ground but roads are finally firming up. No seeding plan changes yet but looks like flax will be king.
