    The Government, and the WCWGA,

I want to say a form al thank you to the
WCWGA for all the work they have done on the
    transportation file.

What brings success and support to farmers IS
electing a government who has the interests of
not only the East, but ALSO of the West at
heart, coupled with a farm organization that the
government will actually listen to, and speak with,
    and acknowledge as a voice.

This government did not give farmers the
Trudeau finger, because it understands the
economic importance of strong Western Canada,
not as being a milk cow for Quebec and Ontario,
but as a wealth creator for all of Canada,
INCLUDING the West. Farmers have a good
work ethic because we want our families and
communities to thrive; and we expect to benefit
    from our work.

Past governments, and the Ralph Goodales in
them, have had every opportunity to guide the
way for railtoad service agreements. For running
rights. For transparency. For accountability. They
    chose to order studies, instead.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper Government has
made changes to the way the railroads function
that will effect farmers positively, Both CP and
CN are being tethered because they have ignored
sound business practices, that being to
adequately service transportation needs for every
Canadian sector. As corporations, they have
haughtily taken advantage of their duopoly
    advantage, acting with 'in-cahoots' tactics.
Particularly CP, has, in my view,, been lately
operating aggressively; moreso, in the interests
of the USA. rather than of the economic needs of
    Canada.
For those who have worked well into the nights,
to see this legislation come about, thank you.
Much has been expected of you. The work has
only just begun as many more industy-changes
    unfold. Pars
