    The fert industry will claim that China and India and Pakistan are using the surplus inventory they thought would be left from the prevous years' US drought. Dont worry they will spin and spew enough rhetoric to milk good profits from the farmers. After all, thats their job.

      Agree with hopper. Add that to a shut down or two, they will do whatever necessary to drive price up later. But i also think it will stay flat till after harvest.

        Ahhh yes, i forgot about the old "interruption in
        supply" card. They played that one this past
        spring.
        I can see that a farmer more than ever has to
        know cost of production and purchase price
        points at all times. They may have to make
        budget decisions 10 months ahead of time.
