    I for one don't need the vasoline in the year I'm getting @#%ked!. Agristability is designed to pay on your positve margin so that would get me to the next year, where as crop ins. in a nut shell will cover partially a negative margin. In my opinion if your reference margin is decent on agstab then going without crop insurance isn't a huge risk. (although crop ins. is alot quicker with a check if there is cash flow issues) As far as going with a company like Global Ag Risk, premiums might be better but being in agstability you would be doubleing up on insurance

      Around here, if someone says they self insure or would be better off self insuring, their just saying they have no debt.
