Shell shock setting in some parts of the south east.

Can see water all the way up last years sprayer tracks
on some of the regina plains fields.

A couple of well timed rains in next three weeks will
    k.o us.

Got our oats for silage seeded into almost perfect
conditions. Busy seeding round here last couple of
days, earlier than usual for this area but we've only
had @2'' of precip. since April first.
If it wasn't for fear of my neighbours strangling me
I'd ask for 6'' of rain over the next two weeks - the
land and grass could take it.

Klause this area just got an attitude adjustment. Did the drive around assessment tonight, before this last rain at least there were only a few sloughs to go around, now I am afraid every low spot is saturated, will sit down with main man tomorrow and tell him my assessment. Instead of v ditching thing we must hook onto the 70 foot morris harrow with the 535 and go mudding, he should be happy., lol. Gotta try anyway. gotta dry this soil out. Its like cotton states, just a few timely rains and were screwed. May be a good year for a quad track. Saturated soil is not good to plant into so I believe harrowing to scratch and dry is a good option. Seems like the stuff that has been worked deep is like bottomless so glad I don't have that. None the less its going to be a wet start here.

Edmonton area, we are going hard. Ground is a little cold but moisture near ideal. Seeding fenceline to fenceline so far. Anybody an expert in operating an Outback, new sprayer has one, but can't get it to engage.

1.5 hrs SE Edmonton. Grounds been over 8 degrees for 10 days now.
Peas being mudded in. Different drill, getting stuck. Makin a mess on heavier land. The newer the bourgault the heavier per foot!
Will have to reassess battle plan after peas in?

We got one inch in the last rain. Drainage ditches barely running just that every low spot saturated with water that will take a long time to go away sort of thing. I thought Humboldt got more in this last one but did not think that much. We were getting more in the earlier showers.

Wed and Thur look bad then some good
weather. We need heat and wind, lots of
                      wind.
water lying all over the field.
