Wonder if any rent getting cheaper by the drop?
Might be lots of fertilizer after all.

      Halfway between Regina and Fort
Qu'Appelle we got 8/10" of rain in one
hour along with an inch of hail. When
the ice melted in the rain gage it showed
1.5 inches. That on top of an inch last
week. Maybe one quarter seeded that
      I've seen around here.

On back road back to the city, ground white with
hail! It was a hour after the storm.
One note we were. A swamp last two years.

10mm. Big sloughs will take years to go down but wet spots all gone. Seeded feild today corner to corner for the first time in years. South of Regina. Roads to some land are still very bad shape from last year.

I thought this was gonna beeee the
earliest Spring ever. Pulling out the
seed drills, gettin ready ta giverer!
When was that, no snow, hiredmen ready
ta go, new neighbours paid too muck fer
land, that'll teachem. Sold 70,0000 Bu.
a canolie at higher than high prices.
Got a hellofa deal on next exotic
vacation. Shes almost in the bin/bank,
butt apparently Saskabush guy fergot ta
                  gota church. 40 days/ 40 nights a
rain'll do it to ya though. Big
                  Saskatchewan bummer. Crops peakin outta
                  the ground in Manitoba. Goddless
Albertie, is dryin as we speak. Funny
                  things happen though, even ta
                  knowitalls, doitalls, vacationitalls,
got the most monney and knowledgeitalls,
                  fastest tractoritalls, it seems........

Had just over an inch fri-sun. Things dried up ok and we were going to roll today. Forecast was not bad - but thats all changed now. Looked like we might miss most of the rain/showers but the new forecast don't look good for field work. Not worried yet but some will be.

Had rain off and on all week in southern Alberta. Lots of seeding has been done though.
