mcfarms, I'm interested in your strategy. Are you limiting your production because you fear market saturation? Or are you trying to talk the market up???

Also wondering if you, like others it seems, are not 100% ingenuous when you report to StatsCan. What acreage do you think they have in their data base?

            Acres (non of your business)

            20% Canola
            10% IP Canola
            15% Soybeans
            8% Flax
            8% Canary
            8% Durum
            15% Winter Wheat
            8% Red Lentils
            8% Green Lentils

But its always a moving target on our farm until the drill gets put away.

Cheating on Canola a bit about 1/3 of Canola acres RR Canola/Chem/Invig Canola

SF3 got the low down on some of that land that traded in your area. Was quite suprised by the some of the people involved. Interesting times indeed.

Yea it really is. Good seeding and yes
              dont list your acreage.
I just cant see how we will have 23
million acres of Canola in Western
              Canada.
Were loosing acreage every day with the
rain. Yesterday when I headed back to
city water going over road. and most
that was worked last fall had standing
water in low areas again. Yard is a mud
              hole.
Oh well we could be dry.
Good luck to all spring is just about
              here!

Yea the $300,000.00 a quarter for the
Englishmans farm doesnt make sence. Pike
must have shitty negotiators because the
guy from BC got IMHO similar land and less
                money.

Sasksniveler3 is real after all. He's
gloating cousin somebody paid too much
fer the neighbours land, which is now
flooded to. Framers everywhere r the
same, love seeing the other guy/girl
fail. It is really the only thing that
keeps most of us on the land, watching
                  the neighbours struggle, whilst wes
enjoy level playing fields, gps controls
and havin lots and lotssa money in the
bank. Poor bastard next door'll be
going down soon, then we'll get is land
and stuff, cheap, cheap, cheap ha, ha,
                  haw.......
