We had a guy in our area years ago that
use to see by certain moon. Crop looked
awsome then it froze. Repeat cycle over
and over. Finally he doesnt farm any more.

I believe its New moon for things like potatos and Carrots root crops. above ground crops are "seed by the light of the moon" meaning Full Moon. I could be wrong.

400 Acres Oats In!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ground Conditions, 14 Day, Nature, Everything Says GO. Nevermind The 1/4a Oats, and 1/4a Canolie I put in Back in January, Frost Seeded It, Un ****in Believable Conditions, Coulda done The Whole Farm, Maybe Shoulda, Probly once In a Lifetime Chance. Earliest goin before was April 8th back in 09, Shattered that Record. Anyone plannin on Seeding in May, Keep The ****in Drill in The Shed, Leavin Yield in The Field, Try again Next Year. Geezus Christ, You Guys gotta get outta Bed in The Morning, Wanna get Something Done in a Day..........
