I was just on the site...going same as ever. No problems.

The original Steamroller campaign initiated by the CWB ended weeks ago. The facebook site is still up and running but is not administered by the CWB - Facebook group sites are FREE. The fact that there are 'Easterns' bashing the Harper government probably has more to do with the Harper government's behavior and people's objection to the unlawfull, unaccountable, undemocratic ways that this government is acting. After the 'about face' that Minister Ritz took on his promise to westerners that farmers would get a vote you can't blame people from all across this country to be alarmed and outraged - they, unlike some western grain farmers who think the end justifies the means, realize the future implications this could have on our democratic rights.

That's what I thought. Been wasting my
time posting to the site and no-one has
been able to see it besides in my own
profile. Nothings really changed then,
still like arguing with a dummy.

That Susan is quite the peice of work
though. I would be pissed as well if my
hubby wasn't able to collect a cheque
off the backs of farmers. Add to that he
is going to be at home more now that he isn't able to go to meetings every week
so he can feel important.

Funny thing I posted something a short while ago that
didn't get put up but I got a message directly from
Drew Baker on my facebook id arguing about it. No
one else saw it though, so I can only assume he is one
of the moderator/ drones.

He wouldn't answer my question re how he got to see
it but denied deleting my other posts.

So who runs it? When you create a site someone has be adminstrator. This can not be 'handed off'. The originator is always the first 'friend' is the one who created it.

Two possibilities,

1. The CWB never created the site and whoever did has retained the rights to keep it going as they were the first administrator and only they can delete it. The CWB may be screwed there. It probably is one of the ex directors who holds the keys.

2. The CWB made it. But given the posts there, i really don't think so, there is no profit in doing so whatsoever with.

Wilagro, there is no doubt you have no problem posting there. You're probably one of the administrators.

No, sorry but you're not even close on that one...however, I might just be one of the favorable posters...possibly a big help.

You guys are sure in a tizzy about that site though...it really bugs you.
I find it reasonably fair in that there is dissent as well as agreement. The more obnoxious crap has obviously been deleted as well it should.

As far as I can tell the CWBA (Canadian Wheat Board Alliance). They
have their own web page from a link on the top left corner of the
www.stopthesteamroller.ca

More interestingly they have a link to their facebook SavetheCWB page
which could use a little bit of a reality check!
