The more the sun shines in the next few weeks the more canola will go down in price. Contracted some yesterday for fall.

I feel sorry fer the Genies wit Zero Till this year. NOT the year to playing wit yer Pet Project. Will notice this year BIG time, wait & see whos goin first & see whos sittin on the road watchin. Umm canola price go down??? Ain't gon be much if'n it does, why??? WE need record bushels of all grains gist to satisfy demand. Likely gon happen??? Not likely. Go ahead price away & away & away, more money fer me to make next year when I sell this years crop.......

Canola will get in.There will be lots to go around this year. Other crops may get short though,. Elevators will only have room to take contracted canola in fall. Need to turn over X amount of dollars in the fall and can not count on board grain to do that. Never lose by contracting a profit.

Why sell at a loss to an elevator. Crusher is way to go.

Depends where you are at, here local elevators are within $.25 to $.30 of Lloyd price. Basicaly the cost of trucking. Plus we can haul 10 loads a day compared to 2 if need be.
BTW weather looks O.K. for a while, keepin fingers crossed. We started may 1st last year stopped May 2nd, got rollin May 6th through May 21st. If weather holds we should be rollin 1st week May - good luck to all. This time last year we were driest ever.
