To all Japanese and other nationalities residing in Japan that are readers of this site, BTO does not speak for the rest 99.99% of us Canadians, the tragedy you are experiencing is horrible, we cannot imagine how bad. Best of luck, hopefully the world responds to help any way possible.

Amazing how choice is considered radical. I echo many of these comments and send my condolences to the Japanese people. It sickens me to think how morons can joke about someone's disaster. If your house burnt down BTO, I wouldn't slag you even though I doubt we agree on anything especially the differences between empathetic and pathetic.

The great thing about freedom of speech is it adds perspective to all the posters on this site. You have the radicals, the moderates, the left and the right but the majority still see things in japan as they are - a disaster.

As far as marketing goes , I fail to see how this can be a bearish development. Japan more than likely lost some processing capacity which will have to be picked up by another country and they still have to eat. And they don't store grain as they have implemented a "just in time" system.

It may turn out they buy more grain in the future seeing some of the devastation to their farmland on tv.

While we may not have the power to vote that
sick bastard off the site, we do have the ability to
simply go elsewhere.  If this was my site, BTO
and any other username he uses would never
post here again.  

I suspect that BTO also has another username,
and he created this persona for some
dishonorable reason I won't speculate on here. In
the past I've scrolled past most of BTOs drivel,
but he crosses the line of decency in this
thread.... No... he obliterates it.  

My prayers are with the Japanese people in this
time of terrible hardship.
