Out until they get competitive and offer value and a better price as they claim they can do, then would be back in. After all, i'm in it for the money.

Folks,

THis is a red herring!

How on earth would this be 'regulated'?

One person/entity is in... another out... it is impossible to enforce! Produce will simply flow to the highest value market... through another entity!

Joint ventures are already doing this now.

Grain growers actually do co-operate with each other... it is growing to be more and more important as folks spend more time marketing their produce!

Good point TOM. You gave me a good idea.
But isn't this at least a start in the right direction? If it's the only fish I get thrown, I'll take it.

Emotion and frustration says "I'm out forever"

Practicality dictates that I may be back if (and
only if) competition drives the CWB to
become competitive.

Is this poll telling us that the majority of Agriville readers want out?
Where then is everyone else?

It could be enforced by simple contracting system.

The only thing i haven't got my head around yet is the
paradigm of 40% of all grain production being sold by
one entity and the relationship of it to the buyers.

If i was a buyer i would get pretty cosy.

Im still out butt....in my best chinese voice "con***ius
says,karefol what you wish fo"

NO
NO
NO

For wheat and barley, organics need an export license, just as you do.

To get an export or interprovincail licesne, we do a buyback, just as you do

The buyback has been reduced from what it was. It was so high it stopped sales. Now it is a set price, but often re-set, and varies just enough to often prevent sane, forward, contracting. After all, the Board markets organics.

For ancient grains like kamut, licenses are issued with no buyback.
