Saskboy. Your problem is, that you make
tooooooo much noise about tiny pain in
the butttt issues. I've never had
anything, but co-operation from the cwb.
They are helpful, encouraging and great
to deal with. But then again, I don't
know what I'm doing most of the time and
not a real Comedian farmer, like
    yourself!!! Whinning and snivelling is
always a good defence, when you get
treated badly! Go fer it, lets here a
real sobbing snivel, that might work...

fjlip: So what your saying is they are only fining Saskfarmer3 for 3.2% of the 13.2% shortfall. That is if you have to be at 90% delivered of contracted tonnage. In essence he is short 7 to 8 super Bs if you look at total contracted tonnage. What is a reasonable amount to be out on the estimated tonnage when signing contracts? The line needs to be drawn somewhere.

Making a good argument to a FBR with a little tact and diplomacy may get this petty charge/fine overturned. He wasn't 20% out on his estimate.

One super b out on one contract 278 fine and half on other 232 that's it not 7 or 8 etc.
Yes kissing the reps ass is one way to get the fine knocked down. What a system pucker up and its all good.

fjlip: If you read my post, am I following your logic? Also, would the fine be based on the difference in total contracted tonnes of various types of contracts(series A,B,C, and other pricing programs) throughout the crop year, less the aggregate deliveries of tonnes against those contracts? In one class of grain of course.

I think the bigger issue here is that the cwb let producers out of the grainflo contracts for free.

It was acontract with 100 percent acceptance and they let them out free.

Now they penalize everyone for over and under delivery!

Whether you are a good ass kisser or not; the outcome with the CWB fines had better be identical. Any difference comes down to solely the personal relationship between the kisser and kissee. Some auditor should be examining the differences in the relationships; because the payment or fine should be all upfront.
