I don't want to become a seed grower, that is not the point of the discussion, for christ's sake.

I am not complaining about the seed cost either, to be clear.

And yes, I will give you the point to be paid by december 2011. Even I don't agree with that structure so if I was to buy seed, it would be paid for upon pickup. Just the principal of this whole mess.

I wouldn't be buying enough for you to bother with either, probably 250 bushels to put on one quarter to multiply for the rest of the farm. I think I can find it closer.

Good discussion, don't agree with you on the durum file, but I think you know durum is a winner for 2011 and that the cwb has to find a way to rebuild quality stocks for their sales program. The cwb current thinking is not going to do it.

I really don't know what you's guys/gals want from the bored, other than cash up front right away now, the best price on the planet and freedom to market anywhere, anytime, anyhow. They, the board has ALWAYS been helpful and co-operative with us on our farm, whenever we ask fer help on issues. Maybe you's just don't know how to talk to them on the phone, er in person, or maybe you just WANT to much all the time and they are tired of your demands and foolish input!!

Hey ColevilleH2S whats in the name?? I about 15 years ago had 5000 shares in a company called coleville resources. I bought 5000 shares for 15 cents each...with my sisters money. A month later the shares were worth 20 cents each...I mentioned that to my sister...dumb move...and she said sell them. 25% return in one month not bad. A couple months later I would have made $40,000 not the $250 I did. Just wondering if you know anything about that?

No, Coleville is a town on the west side of Saskatchewan. There is a lot of heavy oil production around it that produces sour gas, also known as H2S. You can find Coleville while blindfolded by using your nose.

The crude joke around here is "If you want to do your girlfriend where it stinks, go to Coleville." Sorry for sharing that :-I

                Allfarmer,

Looks like you enjoyed the wonder of 'pooling'!!!

                Hind sight is always 20/20!!!

Pooling rids the pool holders of personal responsibility... but it rewards everyone equally in hindsight!

Nothing better than this for a farmer!!!
