animals left in this barn will be the pigs.

I, for one, am getting tired of overlooking the

I'm all for defending free speech. It's a right and a
responsibility. With it also comes results. Persuasion or
consequence? I've gone back and read some of the
previous posts of BTO. What would be the result of this
"free speech" talk in your local pub or a community hall?
This is a public forum of sorts, should not the results be
the same? The community accepts the challenged
individual as is and tolerates/ignores it or the guy's a
jerk and gets the crap beat out of him a few times. Are
we certain BTO is the jerk or does he have serious
problems needing professional help? Not sure which is
more disturbing, someone intentionally writing as he
does or the thought of him typing out his "manifesto"
under the haze of a dim bulb....

To start setting rules TO LIMIT, even with the slimmest provocation, (what is the % of "off" posts for heaven's sakes in 45,000 hits?) is an indication of your tendencies to abandon free speech, imho.

I would be more worried about the Hutterite comments as far as liability is concerned, as well as the insult, of course.

If you wan to ruffle your feathers like a bunch of old hens, at a few off comments, go ahead. You are simply soliciting more attention-getters.

The people who comment on mainly people vs those who mainly discuss issues will sometimes blur a bit.
