I just rented two more quarters for next year and will take the chance on another 4 if I can find it close to home. I think people will rent your land. And yes some smoke weed... In fact this year I have several extra weeds that they can have for free, not Mary-Jane though.

Good for you, if you can't seed it collect your 50 and 30 Did you pay the people at least 80 bucks an acre? And then what is your margin that you will collect?
What you don't get is how wet it is, some get 3 or 4 inches and oh the sky is falling we've had that much in a more over a few days all summer or whatever you call it.

And further more there are guys that took a chance on renting big acres this spring before the rains came, they moved in all new eqipment made half a round on one field buried the tractor and cultivator, got pulled out and left, they never seeded an acre they owe the guys 40 to 50 bucks rent was supposed to be paid June 30, renters can't seem to get a hold of these boys. Fields not sprayed weeds where not drowned out all seeding out, yeah we've seen this before it was wet to start with.
