Sounds as if, might, perhaps,....Harper is waffling, and considering laying out more cash he doesn't have for global warming.

Parsley... are you referring to contributing to the
$10 US billion fund for developing nations?
Money our Gov't doesn't have , indeed.
I read tonight that Harper is aligning with the US
target of 17% reduction from 2005 base by 2020.
This game never ends!... Bill

Mustardman.....I typed this slowly so you can read it slowly. Yes, there is climate change happening just like there always has been but what is the affect of man? We will spend Trillions and have nothing to show for it when MAN-MADE affects are proven a fallacy....My mistake, Gore will have Billions!

mustardman,
I recycled long before it was fashionables (do all farmers who weld); and have been an environmentalist ever since I was six when I picked only one flower out of a wild patch, so that the rest would seed down and continue, as do all farm kids; and have been a nutritional foodie because kids are what they eat; so I don't say this lightly:
This whole global warming movement is a bullshit greedy scheme to grab dollars from G-8 countries.

Mustard; I've been to Australia many times. I have read the history of the Murray-Darling River system. If we did the same to the Saskatchewan River as they did to their river, Tobin Lake would dry up. Would we blame that on climate change or would we just be sucking too much water out of the river?

We can complain about these scientists and how they are lobbying governments to put new restrictive policies in place...but they seem to we winning support from the voters.
I am concerned about the new regulations the governments might put in place because of political considerations....we will all be riding bikes made out of wood....won't be able to eat meat and have to hug some trees each day.

There you go skip....
"I am concerned about the new regulations the governments might put in place "
And well you should be.
Lot of reactive-legislation drafts being scribbled in political backrooms to address tax hungry governments.
Agriculture is one of the main targets. Sitting ducks. Pars
