Leave it to you to TWIST my words there Kaiser. Ha Ha. Ranchers.net has really honed your skills.

Ding dings if I remember correctly are either the VLT's and slot machines, or the things that bounced around on stages swinging on poles. Funny thing was, those ding dings always came in pairs. Huh.....

cwilson I had the opportunity to chat for half an hour with your Minister of Agriculture last evening in Saskatoon. He seems like he has his finger on the pulse of your industries in Sask.
He sure is encouraging growth of the livestock sector and slaughter plants.

Emerald have you ever talked to a government lackey who isn't encouraging the growth of whatever lobby group he's talking to-by the way that new highway is coming acrosssss wayyyyy north of Meadow Lake-pretty much a total waste of asphalt.

cwilson have you provided his department input and given them suggestions ? It appeared that he was genuinely interested in continued growth of the livestock industry in Sask., and also wanted to see more value added opportunities vs shipping cattle for finishing elsewhere. At the function I attended he was certainly well known and very approachable, which is a far cry from some of our Cabinet Ministers that are surrounded by aides whenever they are out in public and only the whos who get to speak to them unless of course they are currently running for the party leadership then they are everybody's buddy !!!

cwilson, don't you think that the proposed highway will cut travel time for Saskatchewan residents that work in Fort Mac.?

Emerald I guess unless you live in northern Sask. you can't grasp the situation-I'll put it this way-more casino players than workers will ever use it. The local Meadow Lake businesses are pretty proactive at least-they raffle off a new car every fall for people who shop locally-every purchase made in town you get an entry form.
