For the most part we eat our own beef,but from
time to time for convenience we will purchase
hamburger patties. Twice in the last six months
we have purchased patties that we just could not
eat. Once from Safeway, once from sobeys. We
took the ones from Safeway back and the lady
could not get me my money returned fast enough.
The ones from Sobeys we just threw out. They
had a taste that was totally foreign to ground beef.
Brutal. It pisses me off as a producer that this kind
of garbage makes it to the consumer because I
know they should get better. Has anyone else had
similar experiences?What the hell are they doing
to this beef to get such an awful tasting product?
