How many Kilos per animal per sheer?

Is there really up to 40% "dockage" in dirty wool or does that take into account a cleaning/processing charge for removal of foreign material.

The daughter has about 100 ewes and pays between $5/$6 for sheeting and throws the wool in the pit, as when you feed hay 7 mo its to dirty to have value. Your cleaning ? mostly tag??.
I would guess she cuts 2 to 3 kilo per ewe.

Farmaholic yes its not a dockage per say.

Just removes dust prickles suint or grease

We shear twice a year and get around 3.5 to 4 kg each time.

Stud animals can cut up to 10 or 12 kg.

Dont forget the $20 is for 21 micron wool.

I produce 19 micron wool which is around $25 but standard measurement price wise is 20 micronm
