I heard ads on the radio that CN is holding a kind of job expo....they're looking for train conductors.

A story in the Western Seducer also states CN is looking at hiring a fairly significant amount of people.....WTF changed? Skeleton workforce not working and needs a little more meat on it's bones?

Was it a union breaking tactic? Or reducing the cost of the workforce by attrition or buy-outs then hiring cheaper employees? Shareholder dividends?

Pissedme off right off start when they said if grain was late would cost shipping Co $25000.00 a day. No costs farmers $25000.00 a day in the end.

You notice how old the mountain structures are and the fact they haven't done SFA since the 1800's to improve anything?

Good thing Trudeau ensured Energy East didn't go ahead by adding extra "upstream GHG emissions tests" and "downhill GHG emission tests" to the approval process.
Northern Gateway was approved by the NEB but Trudeau put a moratorium against oil tankers to load and export oil.

Time to buy shares in railroad companies?....or start a pool on when the next derailment/spill will be?

Railroads are switching over to oil, discount for Western Canadian Crude is huge and the railways are gong to suck up the profits. Grain Trains will become very rare like seeing a whooping crane.
