101- any explaination why CN has fallen so far behind and CP so much better this crop year?
Would think if there is profit to be made hauling grain they would be going at it.
See report that CN expects weak economy to cause lower earnings in next fiscal quarter.

Hopefully our farm groups are holding the invisible Ag Minister and Transport Minister's feet to the fire.

Starting to shape up like winter of 2013-2014 without a monster crop and without high oil prices!!

      CN is still under performing.

CP has been executing their shipping plan and CN hasn't. CN has had problems with derailments. That really got them behind and they have been unable to do anything about it to make it up. This can have a ripple effect. Not good. Likely CN is making grain wait while it gets things straightened out.
In the 90's the Union Pacific was in gridlock because of company mergers. The whole country was quickly affected.
        Just my thoughts

Excuses by the railways is bullshit. ...to defend it is reprehensible. ..
