    Bait and switch time

Started taking a few bales bales out to get the pairs ready for moving pastures. There's lots of bush out here and it sure helps that they're trained to a horn. Going to pull the bulls and vaccinate the calves. They really like the tough second cut baled before the last dump of rain.

Now just have to move the portable corrals and find some help for a couple of days....

Hard to believe that they will come to second cut alfalfa lol. Seriously your cattle and country look real good.

Happytrails thanks for that, we're pretty proud of our herd and what they do for us. Managed to get a few people together and work 270 pairs on Saturday and pull the bulls. It went very well considering we had to gather them off two pastures and move them a mile to the corrals and new pasture.

I think freestanding panels and portable handling systems are among the best ideas ever.

It took two extra runs to get the stragglers out of the bush but usually we never get them all in one day so that was a pleasant surprise.

They seem happy in the new grass that only the hoppers have grazed so far this year.

Just have the last half to work but waiting for it to quit raining and snowing here. It was starting to get dry anyways.
