War Refugees and Immigration

We need to look at the bigger question of why we have refugees from the mid east. Why is the Trudeau government like the Harper conservatives supporting the US wars for Oil? Why did the US plan to attack 7 countries in 5 years as former US general Wesley Clark explains in this video from 2011.

General Clark was correct all but Iran has been attacked by the US. Iran is on the hit list as well. Canada needs to get out of NATO and denounce the US war machine and the US wars for OIL. As Clark says "if there was no oil there the mid east would be like Africa".

What would there unemployment rate be if u shut down the military? Haliburton can't make money if they don't sell war materials

Yup that why a real threat like North Korea is left to be a pain in the ass .... no oil but nuke ready .
Iraq had no more than kids rockets from IHOP, but they had oil ..... that's a proven fact now .

Can remember years following Second World War when DP's (displaced people) from Europe were discriminated against and wondered why.
Also wondered why turn of century Hungarian immigrant people were not more welcoming of those who came here following revolution against communism. Was explained that many were criminals and had been released from jail during revolution.
Worst case of discrimination I experienced was on a construction crew where other workers made life a living hell for a man from Quebec.
May be human nature to discriminate against immigrants.

Right on with your comments. As Eisenhower stated after the second world war "beware of the military industrial complex". Raytheon needs to explode bombs and Boeing needs to sell fighter jets.

Sadly I think that is the case. Maybe deep down a primeval instinct that "they" will steal the resources necessary for our survival?
