    Argentina has drained the swamp

Get rid of the useless socialist pigs and the country comes back. Finally.

Ag growth in grains... They are expecting production increases of 15-40% in beef exports up to a 50% increase.

Export tarifs dropping and their peso being de-escalate means they can export competitively.

Access to tide water down an entire side of the country and their infrastructure is rivaling or exceeding ours.

I'm not going to say what diesel or urea cost down there or people on here will blow a gasket. LOL

Further Mercosur is persuing free trade agreements now including with the EU.

If this happens we will be effectively shut out of European markets.

South America does it for less with fewer pesticides (Argentina has the 2nd largest land area dedicated to organics in the world... Over 5 million acres).

They also have oil. Like Kerrobert sk does. Low impact vertical Wells with low production costs...

      They aren't backwards we are.
Cheap oil is the future for those countries with leaders not bought off. Start using the cheap oil to produce other things the potential is unlimited. With high oil you can't move you can't produce anything and will not be competitive with anyone.

Something that affects us... Argentina is buying wheat business. Offering wheat at 174 a tonne to the middle East (Buenos Aires port price.)

        That's $5.97 per bushel CAD

Argentina has 3 grades of wheat... Standard is 11% protein 79kg/hl for a 1.

Quality similar to Canada GP wheat.

If the $CDN drops to 0.50Us then we could sell wheat for $5 US as well. Competitive devaluation and the race to the bottom. I would like to see a great economic idea that did not involve trashing the currency.

Yeah, then us little farmers won't question your right to get preferential access to the Government tit.
