Video: Using Satellite Imagery. Any experiences to share?

We have tried to get reliable sat i/r shots over the past few years . Very hard to get shots when you want . Either timing is sat passes off or it's cloud cover issues.
Drones will replace sat , or already have

These technologies are still in the early stages of development.
I think satellites will eventually be cheaper than drone imagery.
It will be interesting to see what can be learned from the data over time.

There is a web service out there called drone deploy that will process your imagery for you. It requires a pretty good internet connection and can use up a lot of data if you are on a mobile though.

The software cost to do the processing on your own computer is quite expensive ($8,000 to $10,000) for 1 license.
