Quebec spends substantially more per amateur athlete then any other province with an emphasis on winter sports. The vast majority of their population is within an hour or less of the mountains. Quebec has the money to spend and make it a priority to get athletes to the Olympic levels. They allocate no more time then most to phys-ed in school nor is their curriculum much different.

Their conditions play a huge part. JLB, icon in freestyle skiing, once said that the reason they dominate in free style skiing is the have the perfect small mountains and ski crappy conditions.

If it was because of their special and superior phys-ed program this should translate to summer Olympics? They were behind Ontario, BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba in medals won per capita at the last summer games.

**** do you ever spew a lot of bullshit.

Not sure if it’s related but the French schools here in this community have an absolute pathetic phys ed program compared to all other schools in the area.
But maybe it’s different in Quebec ....

Oh my god, that would be so terrible. If we don't have all these chunks of metal hanging around the necks of our citizens, how can we possibly justify our winter sport supremacy on the world?

I am always happy when the games are over. Countries bitch how they don't have money for certain things, but no shortage spared to play games. Just like Trudeau and veterans.

But if you are in government, this is the perfect opportunity to publicly get away with shady shit. Headlines care less about anything other than ski jumpers for the next two weeks.
