Justin Trudeau's close adviser, Stephen Bronfman, helped move huge sums offshoreA key aide of Canada's PM has been linked to offshore schemes that may have cost the nation millions of dollars in taxes, threatening to embarrass Justin Trudeau, who has campaigned to shut tax havens

This will blow over for our fearless leader as cbc and ctv are not interested in reporting on issues that might interfere with his re.election .He is at the throuph with morneau and the rest of the liberal clan.

Both the Conservatives and Liberals have been useless at stopping wealthy Canadians and corporations from evading taxes in tax havens. Mulroney is on the list too. Remember the former Conservative government was connected to KPMG and the promotion of tax havens in the Isle of Man.

It's safe to say Justin Trudeau and his appeal to the "middle class" is now done.

It has been revealed all kinds of friend of the Trudeau's and the Liberal party....even Liberal party fundraisers are using the tax havens they are talking about cracking down on. 😂

Look at who Trudeau's friends are... All trust fund babies that are completely understand noteworthy other than their inherited family wealth.

Spoiled rich brats with no skills of their own... Oh wait.

So Horse, your equating incorporating a small business to having an off shore trust?

it is about as night and day as you can get.

Oh ya, it was either the Chretein or Martin liberals that allowed the Irvings to forgo a "Billion" in tax owing when they transferred a few billion offshore.

Just a small favour for a friend.

Also interesting you mention Mulroney, who was a director not a shareholder of a company registered offshore.

But you don't mention Chretein or Paul Martin. It was quoted that Paul Martin and his sons are among the biggest customers for the law firm with tens of thousands of clients.

Things that make you go hmmm.

Never ever voted Liberal. Just pointing out that it is both The Liberals and The Conservatives who have failed to adress the issue of offshore tax havens. Both have friends and supporters who use tax havens. Good to see that the CBC is digging deep on This issue. The CBC also covered the Cobservative party's connection to KPMG and offshore tax havens.
