Dakota Weather Consultants Blog for Dec 27, 2017

    Good Evening,

Another blog post with some food for thought. We are watching a strong 1055mb high get ready to setup shop over the Northern Plains and also along the ND/CAN border, then set sail all the way to the Gulf Coast reaching the coast around the 2nd of Jan, at 1042mb still rather strong, this equals COLD AIR all the way to the Gulf Coast, we could be looking at a prolong cold air event in excess of 10 days across North America from the Rockies eastward. This will bring the chance for Ice to the Gulf Coast region again this year..

The low pressure that is going to push out of the Southwest and towards the Gulf Coast will also need to be watched for the likely hood of winter weather for New Years along the Gulf Coast and Southeast US before making its turn northward towards Eastern US and Eastern CAN around the 3-5th.

Have a wonderful day and for more weather feel free to visit our site.

sumdumguy,,,would you mind loading up a tandem of heat from your shop and hauling it over to chuckychuckchuck. God his ass must be freezing today trying to rely on wind electrical generation,,,,,and tonight for cripes sakes, with no sun shining on his solar panels, he'll be frozen as stiff as a dead deer on the side of the highway !

God knows due to his pride and glow ball warming guilt,,,he won't be using any coal generated power or any natural gas !!! Nor will he be burning trees due to their carbon release or burning grain because, heaven forbid, food can't be used as a substitute for power!

Please someone, take a truck load of warm air over to chucky, dml, grassass etal.

Trump says global warming will be good for the cold eastern states.👍 We could do with a little heat too cause tonight minus 38 is forecast.

That's right chilly no matter where you are.

What would your humidity be these days?

The reason I ask is because we've been around the -10 to -23 here the last week. The humidity is staying around 75% to 85%. And when we hit -25 and 80% humidity with even just a 20 KMH breeze, it chills you right to the core.
