    soybean dockage?

Are soybeans beans, that are broken in halves, considered dockage? I'm just asking about those pieces that are full halves, are they dockage?

Durum seeds broke in half cross ways, weren't to be counted as dockage, hence my question about soybeans, especially that the pieces would be crushed for oil anyway.

Unless soybeans are cleaned before being crushed? Might that be?

No halves and any pieces that won't fit through a #8 sieve are not considered dockage.

No only the pieces that go through #8 round hole sieve.

Complte description of proper procedures can be read in chapter 20 of the Grain Grading Guide.

Should be noted that splits are a grading factor and can lower grade although % allowed is high 10%-#1, 15%-#2 I think.

Aren't soybeans bought as #2 or better? Haven't heard of #1 soybeans?
