Emile is employed as an Agronomic Crop Enhancement Specialist (ACE specialist) with AgricoreUnited. Emile provides crop production information and advice to Agricore United staff and growers within an area that stretches from Barrhead to Innisfree to Ponoka (North Central Alberta).   Prior to transferring over to  Agricore United in 2003, Emile filled an identical role with Western Cooperative Fertilizers (Westco).  Prior to 1996, he was employed with Alberta Agriculture, Food and Rural Development for 14 years. During this time, he held several positions including district agriculturist at Lamont and Fort Saskatchewan, Pulse and special crops specialist in Lamont and Crop Development Officer with the Marketing Services Division in Edmonton. In the late 80's and early 90's, Emile developed a special interest in field pea production and direct seeding.  While he still maintains this interest, his experience and training in more recent years has broadened his expertise into all aspects of crop production and agronomy.
